About the Designer

I am the lead designer, Harley Rhodes. I grew up in the small town of Thermopolis, Wyoming. I was raised by my grandparents, Ross and Dorothy Rhodes. They were the people that taught me how to show, prep and take care of my livestock. I attended fairs and prospect shows where I built relationships outside the show ring and competed with a smile while being judged.

I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Media Strategic Communication with minors in Graphic Advertising and Sports Management. Wow, that's a mouthful! I know what your thinking... Why am I in the handbag business? Well, the answer is because it's become a passion of mine. I literally have no business running a business or sewing handbags but here we are. each bag that I have made has helped improved my craft. I enjoy building bags because no single bag is the same, talk about uniqueness.

I got into the cowhide handbag business, because cattle has always been attached to the Rhodes family name. Not wanting to raise my own cattle, I found an alternative... handbags. I love building bags and putting smiles on my client's faces and going above and beyond what they expected when they tell me what they are looking for. I will always design customs, because it's not what I want to build it's what will make my client's face smile.
